A collection of Jesuit narratives and accounts relating chiefly to activities in North America. Includes printed pamphlet by E.B. O'Callaghan entitled "Jesuit Relations of Discoveries and Other Occurrences in Canada and the Northern and Western States of the Union, 1632-1672" (1847); and narratives relating to Mississippi missions, missions at Detroit, and Father Millet's captivity and treatment among the Iroquois and Oneida Indians. Also includes a letter (1708) from Jacques Gravier in St. Louis on the state of the mission and extracts of letters (1714-1717) from the apostolic vicars in England to the nuncio at Brussels.

Jesuit missionary to the Iroquois. Millet arrived in Canada in 1667, and worked among the Onondaga, 1668-1671, and the Oneida, 1671-1684. From 1684 to 1689, he served as chaplain and interpreter at Forts Niagara and Frontenac.
